Dana Carpenter will be a new empty nester in the fall of 2019, having homeschooled her two children all the way through! Her daughter attends Howard Payne University majoring in biblical languages, and her son will be attending college (Lord willing and destination unknown as of this writing).Mrs. Carpenter graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas in 1995, with a BS in mathematics. She then worked for two years in the IT department for Lennox as a computer programmer until her daughter was born. She began homeschooling when her daughter was four at the Rowlett University Model Co-op and taught language arts, history, and math classes for five years. Since then, she and her husband have taught Bible classes at their church for over 10 years.
She loves kids and teaching them and wants to stay close to the homeschooling community.
