Exploring Creation Botany – gr 2-6

Description: This course will help students develop a love for nature and plants. We will begin by looking at the nature of botany and the process of classifying plants.  We will look into the various types of plants and how they develop from seeds, their reproduction process, the way they make food, and how they get their nutrients and distribute them throughout the body of the plant. We will keep a nature journal and learn some artistic skills that will help students reproduce their observations by drawings. They will see how plants are used in a variety of ways for creation.

Your child will work in their notebook each week.  We will have some hands-on labs, experiments, notebooking, art fun and more!
Come join us in an exciting adventure in God’s creation of plants!
