Exploring Art – gr 6 – 8

Description:  What is art?  Analyze the influence of culture and history in various art timelines.  Be prepared to be enlightened as you explore and examine art elements through various art styles and time periods.  Learn the art of expression by responding to and making interpretations about culture. Art Projects are designed to illuminate the amazing beauty of our Maker, enhance artistic ability within numerous styles and mediums (clay, marker, paint, etc.)  More specifically, you’ll discover how to draw, both abstractly as well as realistically, how to paint, how to sculpt, carve, and express your imagination through each mission we embark.
