Updated Fall 2017 Class Schedule

It has been a very busy enrollment season since our schedule was released last spring.  We have enjoyed welcoming new and returning families to CERC.  As you know, “enrolling” is simply “reserving a spot” in a class until the end of our Regular Enrollment period, at which time it is determined whether each class met its required minimum number of students in order to remain on the schedule for the upcoming school year.

The following classes met their minimum number and

will be offered on CERC’s schedule for 2017-2018:

American History
Anatomy and Physiology
Apologia Biology 1
Apologia Biology 2
Apologia Chemistry
Apologia General Science
Apologia Marine Biology
Apologia Physical Science
Apologia Physics
ASL 2
Budding Botanists
Effective Reading, Note-taking, and Study Skills
Elementary Art Fundamentals
Elements of Literature and Grammar
Exploring Creation with Botany
Fundamental Worldviews
Fundamentals of Math
Geometry
IEW 1
IEW2
Intro to Literature and Composition
Math Facts
MS US History
MS World History
Pre Algebra
Spanish 1
Spanish 2
Speech and Communication
Studio Art for Teens
The following classes did not meet their minimums and

will not be offered at CERC as a class during the 2017-2018 school year:

Advanced Worldview
All About Reading (all levels)
Analytical Grammar
Art Appreciation
ASL 1
British Literature
Computer Applications
Essay Writing
Famous Artists
Health and Wellness
Intermediate Art
Middle School English
Social Psychology
Story Art 4-6
Story Art K-3
US Government
World History (high school)
If a class for which you enrolled is on the list of classes that did not make, please consider whether one of the remaining classes on the schedule would be a comparable alternative for your student. We would be happy to talk with you to help determine if this is the case!

 

Additionally, please note that if you are on the waiting list for one of the classes that made, you will receive a phone call if a spot opens up and you are added to the class.

Material and enrollment fee checks are available for pickup for those whose classes did not make. Tuition payments remitted upon enrollment for classes that did not make will be credited toward other classes for which you are enrolled, and will be deposited August 1. If you would like to stop by to write a revised tuition check, please let us know.  All material fee checks that have not been picked up will be shredded on August 1.

Seasons of life! My kids are mostly grown and adulting after homeschooling for 15 years. Picked up sewing and quilting again after my mom passed away in December 2018. Have not stopped, and loving it!
