(from the Notgrass website)
Ray and Charlene Notgrass are veteran homeschooling parents who love history. They have enjoyed visiting historic sites around Texas. The photos above are from the Lanier Theological Library in Houston, the George H. W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum in College Station, and a point on the Chisholm Trail in Fort Worth.

They will be in Rowlett on March 4 with a fun presentation for parents. Ray will share fascinating stories from American history, looking at how faith, compassion, and determination have motivated people to work for the greater good. Charlene will talk about how you can use field trips near and far to learn about history, even with limited time and a limited budget.

When: Saturday, March 4, 2017, at 11:00 am

The program will last about an hour with time to chat and ask questions. You will also have an opportunity to browse Notgrass History resources that help homeschooling parents teach the heart, soul, and mind.

Seasons of life! My kids are mostly grown and adulting after homeschooling for 15 years. Picked up sewing and quilting again after my mom passed away in December 2018. Have not stopped, and loving it!
